97 - Fuck You (It's Christmas)

Download Link: http://www.mediafire.com/?mmj5zy2tdjv

So, RATM beat X-Factor? Awesome. Mike talks about the experiences interviewing for a job but the weekend of recording the show is good times. We do a round up of TFLN before the festive period. From people being blown up, people tweeting about death, people fucking horses, people collecting (but not using) drugs, kids dealing at school, the news covers a lot in this show. Snap election next year? could be interesting. Also, Irelands parliament is different to ours somewhat. Fuck you Deputy Stagg! We close it out talking about Tesco offending ginger kids. Hey! Its christmas! Music from Rage Against The Machine, Slade, John Lennon, The Pogues, Chris Moyles

95 - That Was Not Easy

Download Link - http://www.mediafire.com/?wzqgjf2imn5

Damn, that was a difficult show to record. Purely due to technical issues (it helps to record audio if you turn on the microphones). Mike talks about buying Mikeyt.me and how he'd rather have mikeyt.com. We talk about more job hunting, and alternative ways to make money. Mike talks about seeing Adam Hills in Portsmouth. We talk about Twitter clouds and who says what the most on Twitter. Big TFLN segment which features a link to the next show. Switzerland dislike Muslims apparently, BNP represent EU at climate change conference? Labour council candidate calls Queen "vermin", Man finds out real father is Charles Manson, Italian Police write of valuable (one way of putting it) police car, small kid tased for not wanting to shower, Man threatens to leave wife due to cakemaking, and make your special lady feel special with a washing line! Music from NIN, Tenacious D and Bon Jovi

94 - Musical Musings

Download Link - http://www.mediafire.com/?jzgdonqrwxw

One day, Mike turned to Dave and said "we don't often do shows dedicated to talking about music. We should do!" Musical Musings is the lovechild of that discussion. Not that any impregnating happened during that....anyway moving on. We cover the fact that Metallica have more than one song (seriously, Enter Sandman is good, but there's alot to choose from!) We talk about Ronnie James Dio and his bad news. Stone Sour have a new album out in 2010 which equals good times. We talk about festivals and how Download is expensive. NME have listed their top 100 songs of the decade. Firstly, we feel old. Secondly, Johnny Cash - Hurt should be significantly higher. Thirdly, fuck off is the no-one song the best of the last ten years. There are random silences during this list while we listen to the songs. We could have been more professional about it and download the songs we wanted to listen to, but that would have been illegal. Music from Metallica, Dio, and Joy Division

Quote of the show

Mike: "Somebody told me, that you got a...GO AND DIE!"
Dave: "Yeah Yeah Yeah's"
Mike: "They can go die to!"
